sleeper hit!

Juilliard Summer Dance Intensive 2024

A sleeper hit is a piece of art that becomes popular by surprise,

or years after its release. In a way I feel that these young

dancers are all sleeper hits in the timeline of their lives as artists.

I chose to create the piece to a DJ set because, much like the

feeling of youth, a DJ’s role is to exist in the present and to also

look towards the future.

I based this work around the question:

“What does it feel like the day people see you?”
